We wish to thank all of the many cyclists, volunteers and donors who believe in our mission and do their part. This allows the staff of Anchor House, Inc. to do the necessary work with abused, homeless, runaway, at risk and aging out youth to utilize their strengths and the support of their families and communities in order to ensure a stable and successful home.

Please note in the memo line the name of the rider you are supporting, or if giving to
the general event fund, simply write "Ride for Runaways". All checks should be made
payable to Anchor House Foundation, Inc.
The Ride for Runaways is an annual, 7 day, 500 mile charity bicycle event that exists for the purpose of raising funds to support Anchor House, a multi service agency for runaway, homeless and at risk youth. Anchor House services include crisis intervention, individual and family counseling, temporary shelter, food and clothing, advocacy, outreach, and support groups.
This event has been held annually since its inaugural ride in 1979. The ride starts in a different city each year. The 2016 Ride for Runaways participants will leave from Arm & Hammer Park on Saturday, July 9th and begin cycling home on July 10th from Manchester, NH stopping in Leominster, MA; Northampton, MA; Lenox, MA; Kingston, NY, Matamoras, PA; Bridgewater, NJ; and finally back to Trenton NJ where the ride will finish at the Quakerbridge Mall on Saturday July 16th.
